Groupon – $45 for $126 16×20 photo canvas!

The Groupon deals have been extra good this week! I usually only buy 1 every few weeks or so, because a deal isn’t a deal if you don’t actually need/want it…saving money doesn’t work if you are spending more than you usually would just to get a deal. So, I overlook a lot of the tempting spa treatments and such that Groupon offers. Today, though, I am getting in on the deal. You can get a 16″x20″ canvas wrap for you wall made from your favorite photo for $45! The offer comes through Groupon for Canvas On Demand and is usually priced at $126. Not a bad discount! I was thinking of getting one anyways, so this makes me quite happy. 🙂 The deal is listed under Indianapolis, but may be available in other cities ,too. I’m planning to make a collage of our kids to fill the 16×20″ space and hang in in our living room.

If you are not familiar with Groupon, it is a social buying program. The idea is that if more people buy a product, they have higher sales volume, so can offer a better deal. A certain number of people must opt in for the deal before it is actually a guaranteed purchase. Only once or twice have I ever seen a deal with less people than required to buy it , and even then the deal did reach it’s “goal” by the end of the day. Offers usually only run for 24 hours, but some run for longer.

Hungry Hippo Game for $0.24 ! UPDATE: Or FREE at Target & with printable coupon

UPDATE:It seems that some of you may not have gotten the newspaper coupon. So,  I found a printable coupon that is good for $5 off of this game (as well as some other games) by Hasbro.If you print it HERE you will be able to get the Hungry Hippos travel size game for $0.24 as described below. OR you can use the coupon at Target and get the game FREE! Yay!:-)

You can get a Hungry Hippo Travel sized game at Wal-Mart for only $0.25! This would make a great stocking stuffer or school gift exchange item. Here are the details on the deal:
