You’ll need to click “go to application” ,fill in the info, then you will get the lotion. There are several questions about lotion and your knowledge of skin care (only takes a minute or 2). The you post a comment to their facebook page and fill in your shipping info. It’s a bit more time consuming than usual to request this sample, but I really like Burt’s Bees, so I’m still sharing the info with you.

Earth Day Freebies for you 4/22/10

Happy Earth Day! This is a day to remember to take care of our planet, and to realize that every small thing that we can do really does add up to make a difference. It is not always convenient to recycle, I know! If each one us can make a few small changes, they will combine with the changes made by others and add up to a cleaner, healthier world for our children to grow up in.

I have put together a little list of the freebies and deals that are available to celebrate Earth Day today.

• You can get ink cartridges refilled for just $1 each today at Walgreen’s. This usually costs $12.99, and a new cartridge costs anywhere from $20-$40 depending on your printer. This is a great way to save quite a bit of money and reduce the waste from the  cartridges that get tossed. All you coupon-printing folks out there, I know you have to go through alot of ink, so this one is for you. 🙂 To get the $1 refills, print THIS COUPON and take it along with your empty cartridges into your local Walgreen’s store. If you are unsure if refills are available for your cartridge type, there is a list HERE of refillable models.

• Kellog’s is offering a reusable bag in exchange for 2 proof-of-purchases from Kellog’s cereal. You can get more info and print the rebate form HERE. You do have to pay $1.75 shipping and handling for this offer.

• The Disney Store locations are giving away free Eco-Friendly Baseball Caps when you bring in 6 plastic water or soda bottles to be recycled. Just take your empty bottles to the store nearest you and trade them in for a hat. This could be a great way for kids to get excited about recycling. A little aside: my kids are actually the ones who lecture me if happen to toss a water bottle in the trash while we are out…not that I do that often, but they pick up on it every single time! • Origins is offering a free full-sized bottle of their face wash when you bring in your current skin care. There are not alot of specifics on this promotion. It originated on their facebook fan page. You just need to take your current (almost gone, or empty would be best!) skincare to the Origins counter at your local Origins store and they will trade you for a full sized bottle of  Checks and Balances Frothy face wash or a Perfect World Antioxidant cleanser with white tea. Retail value of these cleansers is around $20.

• Red Gold Tomato is offering a free reusable tote bag with the proof of purchase number from a can of tomatoes. You enter the information online and get the tote via mail in a few weeks. More info and ordering can be found HERE.

• Fave Crafts has a FREE EBOOK called “42 Ways to Recycle”. It’s all about fun crafts to make with recycled and reclaimed materials.

My CVS shopping trip deals today April 6, 2010

My CVS run was a great one today.  Everything you see in the photo will be FREE after I send in my rebates! Yep, FREE!

Hair Care Products: The Renpure Organics shampoo, Organix condtioner and BioLuxe conditioner will all be free after the mail-in-rebate hang-tags that I found on the bottles in the store. Look for the hang-tags at your store to get these for free,too! Note, if you are buying both the Renpure Organics Shampoo and the Organix to submit for rebates, you will need to buy them in seperate transactions because both rebate forms require an ORIGINAL store receipt. CVS informed me that they can not print doubles of the receipt. The BioLuxe conditioner rebate allows a copy of the receipt.  Here are the actual prices for you:
